ARE YOU ON YOUR
WAY TO HEAVEN?
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." (Acts 16:30-31; the only place in the Bible where this question is asked and answered directly.)

There are three things that a person must know, and one thing that they must do in order to know that they are going to go to Heaven when they die:
1. You must know that you are a sinner.
The Bible says, "There is none righteous, no not one..." (Romans 3:10) and that, "...all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

If everyone is a sinner, then YOU are a sinner.
2. You have to know that there is a price tag on your sin, and it must be paid!
Romans 6:23a tells us, "For the wages of sin is death." Worse yet, the Bible says in Revelation 21:8, that death for sinners involves going to Hell to pay that price. Revelation 21:8 also teaches that just the simple sin of lying will send a person to Hell.
3. But, GOOD NEWS!
In Romans 6:23b God's Word says, "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Also, we learn from Romans 5:8 that, "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

How wonderful the love of God!

To summarize, you have to know that you are a sinner, headed for Hell, and that Jesus wants to save you. You can know that He does, because He died on the cross for you.
So, what is the one thing that I must do to be saved from such a terrible fate?
4. You have to act on the things that you have just learned, and receive Jesus' gift of eternal life.
"For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

If you would like to accept Jesus' gift of salvation, just pray something like this, from your heart:

"Heavenly Father,
​
I know that I am a sinner, and would have to go to Hell to pay for my sin. But, I know that Jesus loves me and has already suffered and died to pay my sin debt. So, the best that I know how, I'm placing my trust in you to save me and to take me to Heaven when I die.

Thank you, in Jesus' name. Amen."
